Daz Studio 4.5 + PP2012 + Pose2Lux v0.8.8 + LuxRender v1.1.
Thanks goes once again to my friend
for graciously modeling, and allowing me to use, the way cool background props for this render. The canopy of interlocking triangles, and the random hexagon-like abstract stones are his creations. I used V5 for the female character, posed and morphed in Daz Studio 4.5, then imported into Poser using the great DSON Importer to bring her into Poser. From there, the entire scene was assembled and exported to Luxrender.
As you can see, I've been trying recently to create more abstract environments, to make my scenes a bit more unique an interesting than just a girl in a room or in a meadow, or whatnot. Unfortunately, I can not model even a simple sphere from scratch, so I kind of need to depend on some really talented artists who do know how to do such things to help bring the scenes I have in my head to fruition.
So on this Thanksgiving evening, I must give some thanks to a few people. I must thank Luxxeon, who goes out of his way to create some really unique objects for me, and creates them exactly how I ask; also everyone at Daz3D as a whole for creating the most realistic and detailed organic models for a reasonable price (try looking at Turbosquid for a price comparison on human rigged figures if you ever think you pay too much), and all of the content creators who have the talent and skill to create some amazing objects from scratch. I don't know how you do it, but without their amazing talents, none of my images would be possible. So thanks.
